Here you’ll find instructions for a few simple projects to get started and then the rest is up to your child’s imagination!

We’ve designed this kit to support open-ended, creative play rather than step-by-step crafting. The materials can become anything: spaceships, planets, creatures, inventions, or something totally unexpected. The goal isn’t a perfect result, it’s the creative process.

Make Your Own Space Mobile

1. Cut 4 pieces of string.
2 x 30cm
2 x 35xm
2. Tie the 4 pieces of string onto the wooden ring. Equal lengths opposite.
3. Trim the loose ends. Ask an adult to help.
4. Lay out the 4 strings separate from each other.
5. Choose which decorations you want to use.
6. Stick the decorations to the strings and hoop as desired.
7. Cut 4 strings each measuring 20cm. Tie to the ring beside the other 4 strings. Gather together.
8. Tie the 4 strings in a knot.
9. Hang up your wreath and enjoy! Ask your grown up to share on social media and tag Clever Kit.
