Comparing Numbers

Choose 2 numbers from the number cards. Make them with the cubes. Compare the numbers. Which is greater?

In Between

Lay out 3 consecutive numbers from the number cards. Hide the middle number. Identify which number comes in between.

Ordering

Choose a set of consecutive numbers (eg. 1, 2, 3, 4). Muddle them up and see if you can put them back in order from least to greatest. Next, try reordering a set of non-consecutive numbers (eg. 2, 7, 9, 12, 15).

Investigating Calculations

Choose a number (eg. 9). Investigate which numbers add together to make that number. Use your cubes to help you.

Odd and Even

Sort the number cards into odd and even. Do you notice any patterns in the numbers?
